Rally in Garden City marks 1 year since George Floyd's death

A White House official has confirmed to Mediaite that President Joe Biden will meet with the family of George Floyd on Tuesday, May 25 - exactly one year after the 46 year-old was murdered by police. Within a matter of days, citizens in almost every state and more than a dozen countries took to the streets to press officials and lawmakers for change. Chauvin was convicted of murdering Floyd last month following a weeks-long trial.
