Online booking tool for COVID-19 vaccinations to open on Tuesday

NJ to Open Vaccines to All Residents 16 and Older on April 19

The province has seen daily infections top the 1,000 mark several times over the past week, including a single-day record of 1,072 new cases on Saturday.

New Jersey will open Covid-19 vaccinations to people 16 and older starting April 19, Governor Phil Murphy will announce Monday. This is in addition to being able to book by phone (1-833-838-2323) or in-person at the nearest Service BC location.

People will be required to register when they become eligible in their age category.

Provincial health officer Dr. Bonnie Henry has said on track to vaccinate almost half a million British Columbians by mid-April.

To avoid system backlogs, the Ministry of Health is asking people to avoid registering until they become eligible in their age cohort.

"We encourage everyone in get their vaccine at their first opportunity, when it is their turn", Health Minister Adrian Dix said in the statement. Penny Ballem, the executive lead of B.C.'s COVID-19 immunization program. "We're ready to move onto the next phase of the largest vaccination program in B.C. history".

After you register, you will be given a confirmation number, which you will need to book your actual appointment.

Many people in this province have been calling for access to online booking, as until now, only people living within the Fraser Health Authority could do so.

People aged 55 to 65 on the Lower Mainland are still eligible to receive the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine at a participating pharmacy.

So far, 770,000 British Columbians have received their first dose of the vaccine, the province says.

A total of 1,20,378 FLWs have been administered the first dose of the vaccine and 43,494 FLWs have been administered the second dose.
