Morgan Wallen N Word

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - Country star Morgan Wallen has apologized after a video surfaced showed him shouting a racial slur. When they arrived at Morgan's home at around midnight, they were extremely loud. honking horns and talking loudly. loud enough to piss off neighbors.

The Sneedville, Tennessee native's neighbor recorded the country artist as he came back to his house Sunday with friends, disturbing neighbors with loud noise and vehicle horns.

As Morgan appears to stumble toward his house, he tells someone to watch over a guy in his group.

"I'm embarrassed and sorry", Morgan said in a statement obtained by People.

Many of his own peers are decrying his use of the racial slur too - but there seem to be differences of opinion on whether this is an isolated incident or a bigger problem that's just coming to light now.

He was heard saying of an acquaintance, 'Take care of this p**** ass n*****' and 'take care of this p**** ass mother******' as he entered his abode.

"I want to sincerely apologize for using the word", he added. "There are no excuses to use this type of language, ever", he said. The video was reportedly captured by a neighbor's doorbell camera over the weekend. Cumulus Media, the second largest radio chain in the country, has directed its 400-plus stations to stop playing Wallen's music. "Effective immediately we request that all of Morgan Wallen's music be removed from our playlists without exception". Variety also noted his songs appear to have been removed from Apple Music Country's playlists as well as Spotify's list of 50 top Hot Country tracks.

Meanwhile, Mickey Guyton, the rare Black star in country music, retweeted TMZ's story with the comment, "The hate runs deep".

The country singer Morgan Wallen was filmed hurling a racial slur on the streets of Nashville, Tennessee, prompting one of the biggest radio chains in the USA to drop him from its playlists. "We keep them rich and protected at all costs with no recourse".

A now-deleted tweet of Wallen using the same slur in 2012 (while quoting a Meek Mill lyric) has resurfaced as well.
