Dustin Diamond has been hospitalised in Florida.

The 44-year-old star sought medical attention after experiencing "pain all over his body and a general sense of unease", his team tells the outlet.

Actor Dustin Diamond, known for playing Samuel "Screech" Powers in the hit 1990s sitcom "Saved by the Bell", has been hospitalized.

Sources told TMZ that Diamond is now undergoing tests to find the cause of his pain, but noted that his doctors are concerned it's cancer.

According to his team, worries are that Diamond may be battling cancer.

Dustin's family reportedly has a history with the potentially life-threatening disease, and he previously lost his mother to breast cancer.

Saved by the Bell airs only on Stan.

At this time, no further details have been made available. We would love for him to come back on set.

"We're discussing, but I just don't know yet".

Saved by the Bell returned a year ago with a revival on NBC's Peacock streaming service, but Screech did not show up. "I expected I was going to be sent a copy to proofread and OK ... and I was sent the copy and they said 'This is done'".

Understandably, Diamond's former Saved by the Bell co-stars weren't thrilled by the claims.
