Qualifier Harrison stuns top seed Garin at Delray Beach

Ivo Karlović keeps breaking records as he approaches 42nd birthday

Karlović, who will turn 42 next month, became the oldest player to win an ATP Tour match since Jimmy Connors (42) in 1995 when he beat No. 7 seed Pablo Andujar of Spain 6-3, 5-7, 6-4 in the first round of the Delray Beach Open. The victory was the second career ATP Tour victory for the 28-year-old Ecuadorian, who played at the University of Southern California. "I just can't wait to keep playing and hopefully have a good healthy next couple of years".

"I love what I'm doing", Harrison said.

Christian Harrison's fairytale run continued with a 7-6 (7/2), 6-4 semi-final victory over Italian Gianluca Mager.

His win against world number 22 Garin made him the second-lowest ranked quarter-finalist in the tournament's history, after 2009 U.S. Open champion Juan Martin del Potro, who reached the same stage as 1,042nd in 2016.

Harrison regrouped against Mager after losing serve in the first game, when he double-faulted twice.

"I just thought about just going to play each point", Harrison said. He came to the net, he played big balls, he played a super-good three points. "He played really flat, really fast".

Tiafoe, seeded eighth, won the final four games of the first set and dominated the final set.

USA second seed John Isner was to face Brazilian left-hander Thiago Monteiro and United States fifth seed Tommy Paul was set to meet compatriot Sebastian Korda in later second-round matches.
