Lessons from the Ravens' win over the Titans

Errors cost Pittsburgh Steelers dearly as Cleveland Browns march on

John Harbaugh ranked Baltimore's win over the Tennessee Titans as his best ever after the Ravens rallied to record their first postseason triumph since 2014.

The playoff win was the first of Jackson's three-year National Football League career after previously being 0-2, including a surprising 28-12 loss a year ago as the AFC's top seed to the No. 6-seeded Titans. He was backed up by a solid defense that stopped running back Derrick Henry and limited the Titans to a basket in the final 46 minutes of a 20-13 win.

It's now in Buffalo, and the underdog Baltimore will be sure to be confident on Saturday night in its effort to take out another division victor and advance to the AFC title game.

The Ravens - who were 6-5 at one stage in early December - will wait to see where they travel next, depending on the result of the game between Pittsburgh and Cleveland later on Sunday.

Jackson was the youngest player to ever win the Heisman Trophy and the second-youngest player to ever win the NFL MVP. Tennessee played a pretty good game on both sides of the ball, but I'm grateful for the win.

NEW ORLEANS (AP) - Drew Brees completed 28 of 39 passes for 265 yards, connecting with Michael Thomas and Latavius Murray for touchdowns, and New Orleans defeated Chicago in an NFC wild-card game. If he can play similarly against the Bills, then the Ravens have a shot at pulling off an upset. Henry scrambled for 195 yards in the Titans' season finisher prevail upon the Ravens a year ago and he ran for 133 yards, including the match dominating 29-yard TD run in additional time, in November. The Ravens have failed to win a playoff game in each of the last two seasons, so this win was long overdue. Henry only ran for 40 yards on 18 carries which averages out to 2.2 yards-per-carry.

He said: "It had so much meaning for our guys and for us together, the things that we've been through together this year, how our guys have responded, how our leaders have led and how our guys have stuck together".

"There was a lot of attention on it", Harbaugh acknowledged. "It just got us back in the game. We accomplished something as a team so we went out there and took a little bit of revenge, I guess".
