James Harden Told To Stay Home From Rockets Practice After Bashing Team

James Harden's relationship with the Houston Rockets appears beyond fix after a second consecutive lopsided defeat left him venting his frustration with the team. "To that team, the defending champions, and all the elite teams out there".

Houston Rockets coach Stephen Silas did not enjoy LeBron James' disrespectful act during Tuesday night's game against the Los Angeles Lakers.

"We're not even close, honestly", Harden said, via Kelly Iko of The Athletic. Privately, Harden knows the team as now constructed can't defeat the Lakers in a seven-game series, a reality that only further cements desires for a move elsewhere, sources said.

James' Lakers were up big early against the Rockets and won 117-100.

While the All-Star guard has Brooklyn atop his list of potential destinations, other contenders are reportedly still in the mix.

Putting together a trade for Harden has proven hard for interested teams due to his super-max contract and desire to join a contending team such as the Nets, 76ers, Milwaukee Bucks or Miami Heat. However, it looks like Harden is steadfast in his beliefs about the Rockets' chances against the Lakers. The Rockets had informed teams that they want a young franchise cornerstone and a package of first-round draft picks and/or intriguing talent on rookie contracts in return for Harden, sources said.
