Emma Roberts has had her first baby

Actress Emma Roberts has shared the very first glimpse of her baby son, describing the new arrival as "our dazzling light".

"Thank you 2020 for getting one thing right", the 29-year-old actress lovingly wrote, alongside a gorgeous photo of Emma, seen wearing a attractive orange Stella McCartney dress, cradling her baby boy.

Since then, Emma has opened up about her fertility struggles, and egg-freezing journey, explaining that she had been suffering with endometriosis for years before finally being diagnosed. Roberts announced her pregnancy back in August after sharing three photos of herself with Hedlund while cradling her baby bump.

Since the birth of her baby two weeks ago Roberts has been very quiet on social media but yesterday she posted a gorgeous photo of herself and her handsome new baby boy.

"So grateful to my family and pod for making my pregnancy feel so celebrated during such wild times", she wrote on Instagram alongside photos of herself in a floral dress and matching face mask.

In the snap, Roberts cradles the infant named Rhodes Robert.

Hedlund, who was beforehand in a romance with Kirsten Dunst, is also an actor and starred in Netflix film Mudbound.

Roberts and Hedlund were first spotted together in public early in 2019.
