Shia LaBeouf ‘seeking long-term inpatient treatment’

Shia LaBeouf was reportedly fired by director Olivia Wilde for 'poor behaviour'

Now, new details about why Shia left the movie are coming to light. The actor, known for starring in "Transformers" series, "Honey Boy" and "The Peanut Butter Falcon", had joined the film's cast along with Florence Pugh and Chris Pine earlier this year. "Wilde didn't respond to requests for comment for this story".

Amid sexual misconduct lawsuit filed against Hollywood actor Shia LaBeouf by ex-girlfriend FKA twigs, LaBeouf's lawyer has said that the actor is in need of help and long-term inpatient treatment is being pursued by him.

However, now, the Variety insider dished that, even though the movie is yet to start the filming process, Shia was sacked early on, the reasons cited being that he 'displayed poor behavior and his style also clashed with the cast and crew'. In court documents obtained by E! "I have no excuses for my alcoholism or aggression, only rationalisation", he wrote.

"It may be surprising to you to learn that I was in an emotionally and physically abusive relationship", she began a string of tweets.

Shia LaBeouf, 34, will be entering himself into rehab for the treatment of alcohol addiction and other psychological issues. I have a history of hurting the people closest to me.

Also included in the Times report by Katie Banner and Melena Ryzik were multiple comments from LaBeouf, who claimed "many of these allegations are not true" but also said he "owed" twigs and Karolyn Pho (a stylist who also accused LaBeouf of abuse in the suit) an "opportunity to air their statements publicly and accept accountability for those things I have done". I am ashamed of that history and I am sorry to those I hurt.

Musician Sia, who cast LaBeouf in her video for "Elastic Heart", voiced her support for Twigs, while alleging that LaBeouf had "conned [her] into an adulterous relationship". There's nothing else I can really say'.

Until the scandal broke, the actor was considered an awards contender for his upcoming Netflix film "Pieces of a Woman" opposite Vanessa Kirby, already a favorite to take home an acting trophy this season.
