Mild weekend ahead, showers into the new week

FIRST ALERT- Warmer for the weekend- Showers by Thanksgiving

Through most of the day, it will stay dry though.

Showers will be possible for at least the first half of Thanksgiving. It will be a little breezy with highs in the upper 50s and lower 60s.

But there are differing opinions on whether rain will spoil the holiday.

Sunday will be mostly cloudy and slightly cooler, with highs around 52 degrees. As of now, it is projecting a 35% chance of rain on Thanksgiving.

Happy Saturday! If you're headed out early you will be met with fairly comfortable weather.

The snow should start late Sunday afternoon and continue overnight.

News 12 meteorologists are watching a strong storm with gusty winds and moderate to possible heavy rain that could affect the area late Wednesday into Thursday. "But I'm favoring a dry or mostly dry day".

For your Friday going into the weekend, pleasantly mild is what I'm calling it as highs each day head for the middle to upper 70s under partly sunny skies. There will be a slight chance of rain showers Sunday afternoon, followed by a better chance of rain Sunday night.
