Kanye West votes for himself after erratic campaign for the White House

Kanye West Votes For Himself In 2020 Presidential Election By Gabs

After filming himself voting earlier today, rapper-turned-presidential candidate Kanye West has become the first candidate to concede the USA election.

"God is so good". "Today I am voting for the first time in my life for the President of the United States, and it's for someone I truly trust...me".

He later posted video of himself casting his vote in Cody, Wyoming, where he wrote himself in on the ballot.

The unlikely contender made it clear he's aware he's out of the running for US President, expressing his disappointment by tweeting to fans: "Welp".

West, who is running for president under his newly formed Birthday Party, has battled with quite a bit of backlash over the past few months since announcing his bid for the presidency.

Taking to Twitter in the early hours of Tuesday, the rapper shared some last-minute election day encouragement, posting various videos and messages, in which he set out his vision for America's future. Unfortunately, Kanye didn't exceed more than 0.4% of any state's vote.

According to polling data, West had actually managed to grab thousands of votes in Kentucky, Mississippi, Minnesota, as well as several other states where he had appeared on the ballot.

Kanye also revealed he would be voting for the first time - for himself.
