Joe Biden: I Have No Intention of Investigating Trump

Trump campaign requests recount in two southern Wis. counties

More than half the members of President-elect Joe Biden's transition team are women and almost half are people of color, according to data from the team.

But Emily Murphy, the Trump-appointed administrator of the General Services Administration, has yet to recognize Biden as the president-elect - a process called "ascertainment".

O'Brien, a longtime Republican lawyer who earlier handled hostage affairs, also seemed to acknowledge the election results as he spoke of efforts to free Austin Tice, an American photojournalist missing in war-ravaged Syria.

Several doctors and nurses associations published a letter on Tuesday urging the Trump administration to share critical COVID-19 data, such as equipment inventories, medical supplies and hospital bed capacity, with Biden's team.

"The election was won by Joe Biden", Mohler said.

Biden, a Democratic former vice-president who will take office on January 20, has also not been able to receive the classified intelligence briefings usually afforded a president-elect. Mohler came around on Trump over the course of his administration and even voted for him in this year's election, explaining that "If I am electing a neighbor, it would be Biden hands down ..."

Trump has refused to concede, baselessly claiming in a tweetstorm Wednesday morning that there is widespread voting fraud and calling the election rigged. The remarks marked Bidens toughest to date on Trumps failure to acknowledge his election loss and cooperate with the incoming administration for a peaceful transfer of power.

PENNSYLVANIA BALLOTS: A hearing on the Trump campaigns federal lawsuit seeking to prevent Pennsylvania officials from certifying the vote results remains on track.

Roughly 40% of the 500 members of the transition's agency review teams - which are tasked with understanding how each agency operates - represent "communities historically underrepresented in the federal government", including people of color, LGBTQ individuals and people with disabilities, officials say. "Trump is not going to go away".

Trump supporters are also clinging to hope that recounts could reverse state results. The Trump campaign chose not to seek a statewide recount, which the commission had estimated would cost $7.9 million.
