Star Trek: Discovery Renewed for Season 4 at CBS All Access

Star Trek: Discovery extends its voyage with Season 4 renewal at CBS All Access

In addition to Martin-Green and Jones, the series stars Anthony Rapp, Mary Wiseman, and Wilson Cruz.

"I am looking forward to the one thing I always look most forward to when we get to come back for another season of Star Trek: Discovery, and that is to be reunited with my family again, the Trek family, the Discovery family", Jones said, before noting that he's not sure how coronavirus precautions will be taken yet when shooting the new season.

Production on Season 4 will begin on Monday, Nov. 2, per the streamer. CBS All Access is all-in on Star Trek, producing Discovery along with titles like Star Trek: Lower Decks, Star Trek: Picard, Star Trek: Short Treks as well as upcoming titles like Star Trek: Prodigy, Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, and a still-untitled series focused on Starfleet's Section 31 division, with Michelle Yeoh reprising her role from Discovery. Nickelodeon is also prepping an animated "Star Trek" kids series that will feature Kate Mulgrew as Captain Janeway. "I don't know how it's all going to work". A prequel to the unique Star Trek sequence, the drama follows the crew of the USS Discovery of the interstellar authorities often known as the United Federation of Planets (UFP).

By the time season 4 premieres, CBS All Access will have already re-branded itself as Paramount+.

Lately while talking on THR's TV Top podcast, Alex Kurtzman clarified they have a strategy for the subsequent seven decades of the Star Trek franchise. Stream all-new episodes of Star Trek: "Discovery on Thursdays, exclusively in the US on CBS All Access", states the video description. You can check out the announcement video below!
