Justin Bieber's 'Lonely' shows the dark side of childhood stardom

Saturday Night Live’ Ratings Slip With Host Issa Rae Remain Above 2019 Levels – Deadline

The Oct. 17 telecast of Saturday Night time Reside, with host Issa Rae and musical visitor Justin Bieber, drew a four.5 score family Reside+Similar Day score within the 44 metered native markets and a 2.zero adults 18-49 score within the 25 markets with native folks meters.

Bieber later returned to the stage and gave a heart-wrenching performance of another new song, "Lonely". He last performed his songs, "Yummy" and "Intentions," on the Feb 8, 2020, show.

At the end of his performance, Justin appeared to be overcome with emotion, remaining hunched over with his hands on his knees.

Bieber was joined on stage by his collaborator on the track, Chance the Rapper - who previously served as an SNL musical guest and host a year ago. Chance smiled and embraced the singer after the number ended. Many fans took to Twitter to shower the singer with praise. All while carrying a sweet tune, Bieber walks around hallways and passes through the SNL crowd before culminating his presentation at center stage alongside Blanco, who can be seen performing the song on a keyboard.

"Ive always said SNL uses black people to hold other black people back", Kanye wrote.

Entertainment Tonight reported that Bieber started rehearsing for his performance Thursday.
