Talking to Entertainment Tonight, a rep for Eugene PD said: "On Oct. 16 at approximately 10:24 p.m., Eugene Police officers were dispatched to report of a physical dispute at a north Eugene home after neighbors called".

Police were called to the apartment of Bryan, 39, from the USA state of OR, on Friday (local time). Bryan, 39, was found outside an apartment while his girlfriend, 27, was inside a neighboring one, according to E News. "The two have been in a relationship", they added further.

The victim declined medical care, authorities said. He has not yet entered a plea.

The star - who played Brad Taylor in the famous 90s sitcom - was accused of not letting his girlfriend call 911 by grabbing her phone from her.

Home Improvement ran for eight seasons from 1991 to 1999 with a total of 204 episodes after it finished.

While it's his best known role, Bryan also made appearances on hit shows including "Veronica Mars" and "Buffy the Vampire Slayer". He most recently starred as Thor in the TV movie "Thor: Hammer of the Gods" in 2009, according to his IMDB page.

Ever since then, it appears Bryan has been keeping busy as a producer. A potential representative for Bryan did not respond to a request for comment.
