Borderlands 3: Season Pass 2 Coming, Get Ready!!

Borderlands 3’s next season pass launches alongside next-gen upgrade

Yes, the sequel to the game that never stopped getting DLC, is getting more DLC! Beginning and timed perfectly, with the console switch to the next generation, the season pass includes not just new skins but also some fantastic DLC packs!

Season Pass 2 brings with it two new expansions to the game that build on the Borderlands 3's systems rather than introducing new characters and storylines. First up will be The Designer's Cut, which launches in November with "new ways to play", including a new mode called Arms Race, an additional Skill Tree for each Vault Hunter, and more. Director's Cut add-on has a planned release date by May 2021.

Two DLCs for the pass have been announced: the Designer's Cut and Director's Cut add-ons. The costs of the two DLC, and the new Season Pass, have yet to be revealed.

Details beyond that are scarce for the moment, but Gearbox is planning on a full reveal over the course of several stream events. It all begins on October 20, when the new skill trees for Amara and FL4K are shown off.

October 22, 9:00 AM PT - Moze and Zane new Skill Tree reveals with Borderlands Creator Team livestreams.

The Borderlands 3 Season Pass 2 will be available to grab on PC and Stadia (as well as both current and next-gen consoles) on November 10, with the Designer's Cut right alongside it. A week later, The Borderlands Show will premiere, with the grand reveal of the Arms Race mode and "much more".
