10 team’s Saturday game postponed due to COVID-19

The American Athletic Conference announced on Thursday that Saturday's scheduled game between the Cincinnati Bearcats (3-0) and Tulsa Golden Hurricane (1-1) has been postponed because of positive COVID-19 test results and subsequent quarantines within the Cincinnati program. The Bearcats-Golden Hurricane contest has been rescheduled and will now be played at H.A. Chapman Stadium in Tulsa, Okla., on Saturday, Dec. 5.

UC has been dealing with COVID-19 cases for the past couple of weeks. The Golden Hurricane next play South Florida on October 23.

Cincinnati is next slated to face No. 17 SMU on October 24, while Tulsa is scheduled to play USF on October 23.

TU's next game is against South Florida on October 23. The Southeastern Conference has called two matches, such as LSU in No. 10 Florida, the very first postponements from the league because it started September 26.

It is the major college fifth game that had been slated to be played this week to be rescheduled, and the fourth since Sunday. Saban said Wednesday that he didn't have symptoms.

Cincinnati had to postpone its game against Tulsa due to COVID-19 cases. He's unlikely to trainer Saturday from Georgia.

In addition to announcing the Cincinnati-Tulsa postponement, the AAC also announced that the 2020 AAC championship game will be played either on December 12 or December 19. They're scheduled to perform at USF around October 23.

"This TU Homecoming game was a great opportunity to showcase our football program, the community and the American Athletic Conference against the nation's No. 8 team", Dickson in a statement.

Like Tulsa, Charlotte has yet to be play a home game. Even the 49ers are scheduled to perform October 24 in the home from UTEP.
