Sony Is Introducing 'Ready for PlayStation 5' Bravia TVs

Sony Is Releasing Two ‘Ready For PlayStation 5’ Bravia TVs

With the TVs that were released this year, a major consideration for many TV buyers has been which ones will make their video games look the best, especially when the latest generation of video game systems arrive later this year. Both the PlayStation 5 and the Xbox Series X have had their showcases recently, but if you are a member of the PlayStation nation, Sony has something ideal for you. The first two models included in the "Ready for PS5" program is the Sony X900H/XH90 4K HDR and the Z8H/ZH8 8K HDR Full Array LED TV that was announced at CES this year. The X90H will display your games in 4K at 120FPS with a low input lag of 7.2ms whilst the Z8H will showcase games in up to 8K (as well as 4k) at a super smooth 120FPS.

The X900H/XH90s also support 4K visuals at up to 120 frames per second (fps) and offer Automatic Low Latency Mode switching that automatically switches the monitor to its game mode whenever it detects a gaming source. In order to enjoy all those features, you need a TV with both HDR and a HDMI 2.1 port. The company also says that you will be able to play games at a resolution of 8K on the ZH8.

"The X900H is a great TV for gaming". The review was not, however, based on usage with the PS5, which is not yet available.
