Sanjay Dutt hospitalised after complaining of breathlessness; tests negative for COVID-19

Sanjay Dutt admitted to Lilavati in Mumbai

Mumbai: Actor Sanjay Dutt, who has been admitted to a city hospital in Mumbai after he complained of breathlessness, on Saturday said that he is now under "medical observation". I'm now under medical observation & my COVID-19 report is negative.

Dutt has been admitted in the non-covid ICU ward as of now.

Reportedly, he was tested for Covid-19 through a rapid antigen test, which came negative. "Thank you for your well wishes & blessings". Dutt is now in Mumbai alone. Dutt has been admitted after he complained of breathlessness. According to reports doing the rounds online and on media publications, the actor has tested negative for the novel coronavis.

Sanjay Dutt's sister Priya Dutt also told news agency PTI that the actor will remain in the hospital till "he gets all of his tests done". "He is absolutely fine and being treated for mild breathlessness", the official said.

In 2019, the actor had featured in three movies - Ashutosh Gowarikar's period drama "Panipat", Karan Johar-produced "Kalank" and political drama "Prassthanam".

Sanjay Dutt also has KGF: Chapter 2 lined up.
