Samsung Galaxy M31s India Launch Set For Today

Samsung launches Galaxy M31s in India: Price, availability and other details

Samsung Galaxy M31s is finally here.

With "Single Take", all the user has to do is press record at the right moment and Galaxy M31s will capture the footage, up to 10 seconds of it, and then use AI to produce up to 10 different outputs - seven photos and three videos.

The Galaxy M31 is just like the stencil for the Galaxy M31s, just that the fingerprint sensor has moved. The display is 6.5 inches FHD+ Super AMOLED panel which is also protected by the Gorilla Glass 3. It's unclear if these additional enhancements will make it to the USA versions of the S10 lineup, though, since the global models are running on Samsung's Exynos chips.

Meanwhile, on the back of the phone is a triple camera setup that looks somewhat similar to the one found on the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 20, sans the fourth sensor. The smartphone has a 32-megapixel selfie camera that can record 4K video as well as slow-motion video. On top of that, we'll probably end up with 256GB or 512GB of internal storage, while the camera upgrade is also huge. The customers can now pre-order the device on Samsung.com and its price starts at $1,499.99 and the customers who want the LTE version will have to pay $70 extra.

The phone is loaded with a 6000mAh battery and it comes with 25W fast charging support that the company claims can charge the device fully in 97 minutes. It also features the same octa-core Exynos 9611 chipset and runs Android 10 with the One UI. The module also includes a 12MP ultra-wide lens, a dedicated 5MP macro lens and a 5MP depth sensor. The smartphone comes in two variants. The 6GB + 128GB variant will cost ₹19,499 in India ($260), 8GB + 128GB variant will cost you ₹21,499 in India ($286). To recall, the Galaxy M31 launched at Rs 14,999 for the base variant but it got a price hike due to higher GST rates in India.
