OnePlus 8T is on the way after Nord was launched

OnePlus 8T may have just passed through GeekBench

Firstly, the OxygenOS 11 based on Android 11 is incoming and it will be tagged along with an Always-On Display feature that OnePlus users have been eagerly waiting for years. According to the reports, the OnePlus users have noticed green, purple, or yellow screen tinting. The OnePlus Nord feels sturdy but the plastic frame doesn't inspire confidence. The Geekbench listing comes with the model number OnePlus KB2001 and hints at the processor, RAM, and Android version of the phone that is said to be either the OnePlus 8T or OnePlus 8T Pro.

In the case of the OnePlus 8 Pro, the manufacturer ended up publishing a patch to update one of the components that regulate the amount of current that reaches the screen when we use it with low brightness levels, although the result was not entirely flawless either. Severe color distortion is observed at the display brightness below 25%. We can only be sure once the company confirms the same. DC dimming is not enabled on OP 8 Pro and you should know that this setting is not available on Nord. I had a similar issue on OP 8 Pro at the beginning but not as much. "I'm a little anxious", wrote a user in the official OnePlus forum.

The issue is experienced by limited users only. The review unit that we have do not have any display issues. If the brightness level is above 60%, the display issue is not seen.

The fact is that the screen is not the only front that has emerged for the OnePlus Nord in its few weeks on sale. This is not a quality issue and will not affect daily usage or the durability of the screen.

Till the company responds to any of the complaints, we need to wait.
