18 new Bureau County cases, one new Marshall County case

Health officials provide breakdown of Missoula County COVID-19 cases

The latest cases bring Jackson County's total to 352.

Local health officials reported a dozen additional confirmed COVID-19 cases in Missoula County on Wednesday.

Peoria and LaSalle counties also are both included in Region 2 and are among 11 counties the Illinois Department of Public Health has designated at a warning level.

In total, 3,805 Bureau County residents; 435 Putnam County residents; and 1,442 Marshall County residents have been tested for COVID-19 since the beginning of the pandemic.

According to data from the McLean County Health Department (MCHD), 412 people are considered recovered after completing their time in quarantine, while 83 people are isolating at home.

The county reported two deaths on Thursday.

"Jackson County Public Health is stressing the importance for people to take preventative action and wear a mask, practice physical distancing, wash your hands regularly, frequently disinfect surfaces that or touched often, to help prevent and slow the spread of COVID-19", the agency said on Friday.

There were 62 active cases and the Missoula City-County Health Department outlined where the suspected active COVID-19 cases are coming from.

Only slightly more men than women have been infected with 50 percent of the cases being male and 49 percent, female. Some 61.5 percent of the total beds are now occupied.

Positive case No. 138 is a symptomatic male in his 60s with unknown exposure and is recovering at home. Putnam County has had eight confirmed cases.
