Vivo X50 series coming to India, confirms Vivo CEO

Vivo X50 X50 Pro to be launched in India soon

X50 Series is coming on 1st June.

China's Vivo, known for its photography-oriented phones, launched new flagship smartphones on Monday: The X50, X50 Pro, and X50 Pro+.

Of the X50, X50 Pro, and X50 Pro+, the latter two models are taking a page from the Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra's playbook and picking up a fat periscope lens capable of 60x hybrid zoom and featuring the new gimbal system on their primary cameras. It remains to be seen whether the Vivo X50 series arrives in China this month in India. Vivo has told us that "the X50 series will be available gradually in worldwide markets in the second half of this year".

The main camera of the X50 Pro comes with a stabilization system modeled on a full-size professional gimbal, and which moves in the opposite direction of shaking motions to reduce image blur. Vivo says the system widens the rotation angle, as well as the anti-shake area, compared to other stabilization methods. X50 Pro has a versatile camera setup with one front camera and four rear cameras. The Gimbal Radar, an on-screen animated ball that reflects the gimbal's movement, lets users know when the frame is stable. vivo's motion-deblur algorithm, customized sensors, and continuous focus tracking further enhance image and video clarity.

According to the Chinese manufacturer, the Vivo X50 is the thinnest 5G phone around, measuring just 7.49mm thick. However, there is no official word about when the company will launch its Vivo X50 and Vivo X50 Pro smartphones in the country. Both of them support a 90Hz refresh rate for their displays with the vanilla x50 having a flat-screen and x50 Pro having a curved one. Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+X55 processor, X50 Pro+ provides fast computing speed and smooth multitasking capabilities. This technology should get popular soon as vivo has always been the trendsetter in the smartphone industry with its in-display fingerprint sensors to pop-up selfie cameras that showed up previously.

Designed with the needs of consumers in mind, TWS Earphone Neo also feature AI noise cancelling for clearer phone calls and several voice-activated smart controls.
