McHenry County reports 29 new COVID-19 cases Saturday

The Allen County Health Department confirms another 6 confirmed positive cases of COVID-19 in Allen County as of Sunday afternoon.

No additional recoveries in La Salle County were announced Monday either, maintaining that number at 81 countywide.

Across the state, just over 300 new cases were reporting, bringing the total to just over 72,000.

As a public service, Shaw Media will provide open access to information related to the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) emergency.

As WSPY has previously reported, IDPH says data includes laboratory confirmed cases only and health officials say there is a lag because of time taken to receive and compile the data.

List cases by city exceed the reported cases in beginning of this report.

Statewide, the Illinois Department of Public Health reported Saturday 1,462 more confirmed cases and 61 additional deaths from COVID-19.

Kane County has had cases reported at 27 facilities, with the largest death outbreak remaining at Bria of Geneva where there have been 26 deaths and 132 cases.

DSHS recently informed county health departments that NEDSS will no longer share negative test results, so that county health departments can focus on managing positive cases.

Individual cases may be removed if the place of residence is outside of Collin County.
