Man United To Face Chelsea In Tasty FA Cup Semi-Final Affair

FA Cup semi-final Arsenal to face Man City again

The draw for this year's FA Cup semi-final has been made, throwing up some very tasty ties indeed, including a repeat of the 2016 final.

Manchester United were the first to make their way into the semi-finals on Saturday evening, though Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side laboured to a 2-1 win over a 10 man Norwich after extra time, captain Harry Maguire netting a 118th-minute victor for the Red Devils.

In the 87th minute Sheffield United equalised through David McGoldrick who pounced on a poor clearance by the Arsenal defence off a long throw.

Whom will it end in premium tears for?

Arsenal, a 13-time champion, will play Manchester City, and 12-time victor Manchester United faces Chelsea.

In-form Kevin De Bruyne calmly slotted home a 37th-minute penalty in what was scant reward for a dominant first-half showing. This will be the first time in the competition's history in a long time that all the last four opponents represent only two English cities.

Striker Tammy Abraham had a goal ruled out for offside and then Barkley found space in the area to clip in Willian's measured cross past Kasper Schmeichel.

Odion Ighalo had given United the lead before Todd Cantwell levelled to send the game into extra-time but Harry Maguire scored in the 118th minute to send Man Utd into the semi-finals where they'll now meet Chelsea in the last four.

An injury-time strike from Dani Ceballos saw Arsenal squeeze past Sheffield United 2-1 in their last-eight clash at Bramall Lane on Sunday.
