Vivo X50 Pro comes with stabilized camera in 'gimbal style'

Vivo X50 Pro's Camera Boasts Of Gimbal Like Stabilization

Also evident from the Weibo handle is that the company intends to launch a series of devices under the X50 brand name. The camera module says "16-135" beneath the focal points, which could simply depict a periscope prime of 5x the central length of a 27mm essential camera.

It took Vivo months of time and a lot of R&D team efforts to develop and miniaturize the module as the kit takes five times the area of your average phone camera, and more than three times the space that a periscope zoom camera, like the ones on the Galaxy S20 Ultra or P40 Pro take.

Vivo has planned an event in China on 1st June to launch its latest Vivo X50 smartphone. The rotating lens feels like chameleons' eyes. The company claims that this setup is 200 percent more effective than typical OIS allowing longer nighttime exposures and smoother video. Obviously Vivo figured out how to realise the concept, with the X50 being the first go-to-market flagship with this tech installed.

A few reports also suggest that the phone could feature recently launched Samsung's new ISOCELL GN1 sensor. A Vivo item director posted about the new sensor on Weibo, featuring its 1/1.3-inch size and 2.4μm-proportional pixels.

From the video, it appears that the X50 Pro will sport a rectangular camera island with four sensors on its back.

It's conceivable that the X50 could utilize Samsung's new ISOCELL GN1 sensor, which was simply reported yesterday. We do not know about phone's specifications but I expect more leaks and teasers before the official launch.
