Health officials report 12 new cases of COVID-19 in Kendall County

However, among the news Wednesday, the department reported one patient is now recovered.

New case in LincolnLincoln authorities reported a new case of coronavirus in a news release Wednesday, bringing that area's health district cases to nine. Jackson prisons have 52 inmates who've tested positive, per the Michigan Department of Corrections.

IL public health officials announced 42 additional deaths, including a man in his 20s, two men in their 30s and two men in their 40s, along with several others among older people in Cook County.

One of the cases is someone in the 0-to-19 age range.

Of the positive cases, 30 are women and 26 are men, per the health department website.

Three cases are still under investigation for type of transmission, the health department said Wednesday, and it listed three cases under a new category for people who tested positive after close contact with a previous positive case in the county.

Henry Ford Allegiance Health has 23 people hospitalized from the virus, a news release said.
