Google’s Art Transfer turns your photos into a work of art

As per a recent blog post from the company, the Google Arts & Culture app now offers a feature called "Art Transfer" that lets you transfer the style of a renowned masterpiece onto your image. This feature is called Art Transfer and using it is quite easy which can often make it hard to realize just how advanced the technology behind this sort of thing can be. Instead of scouring its huge database for matches to your photos, it applies different filters to pictures, in the style of history's famous artists. I've placed my own example below, just to give you a taste.

Art Transfer can be accessed by tapping on the camera icon in the application and selecting "Art Transfer" from the menu that pops up.

The last time you opened the Google Arts & Culture app (available for iOS and Android), which allows users to explore iconic pieces and notable artists through various interactive experiences, was probably a couple of years ago when Google added the Art Selfie feature that used AI-powered image matching to automatically find portraits that best matched a user's selfie. It's basically an art-themed variant of the Prisma app.

Transfer Art Transfer 'is based on advanced artificial intelligence and performs all its calculations directly on your device. The feature is developed in collaboration with art institutions like the UK's National Gallery and Japan's MOA Museum of Art, and uses the power of Google AI to do its magic. Once you snap your photo and select a design, Art Transfer does blend the two items or overlay your picture.

Google has updated its Arts & Custom app with an all-new perform that means that you can seize {a photograph} and develop into it with classic inventive endeavors.
