Bollywood producer Karim Morani’s daughter tests positive for coronavirus

Both have been admitted to Nanavati hospital.

Shaza is now at Mumbai's Nanavati Hospital and the entire family is in self-isolation at their Juhu residence in the city.

Karim Morani's daughter Zoa Morani has also been shifted to a hospital in Mumbai after she had reportedly developed COVID 19 symptoms. To a text message inquiring if Shaza test tested positive for COVID-19, he replied, "yes it is true".

Meanwhile, a picture of Shaza Morani with Kanika Kapoor is now going viral post the news of her being infected surfaced online.

For the unversed, Karim Morani, a Bollywood producer is known for backing projects like Dum, Happy New Year, Dilwale amongst others. It is my duty to inform you as we are law-abiding citizens.

The coronavirus pandemic has affected over 4,000 people in India. All will be tested tomorrow.

Producer Karim Morani, who has co-produced several movies of Shah Rukh Khan, has confirmed that her daughter Shaza Morani tested positive for coronavirus, reported news agency PTI. "The municipal authorities will be here, tomorrow, at 10:30 pm", quoted the report as saying.

Shaza Morani is the younger sister of the 33-year-old actress, Zoa Morani, who made her Bollywood debut with the Shah Rukh Khan production, Always Kabhi Kabhi in 2011.

Renu Hansraj told media "The entire Morani house is under lockdown". The disease has taken the lives of 109 people so far, according to the federal Health and Family Welfare Ministry.
