Try Final Cut Pro X free for 90 days

Final Cut Pro X Logic Pro X Get 90 Day Trial Amid COVID-19 Lockdown

Apple is the latest company to get on board, now offering Final Cut Pro X free for 90 days - voted by us as one of the best video editing software programmes around. Notably, Apple does not charge subscription pricing so if you want to continue using the video or audio editing software suites, you'll have to pony up the full purchase price. However, in light of coronavirus confining so many people to their homes, the trial period is being extended to 90 days. Apple's video editing software Final Cut Pro X is also being made available for free for 90 days.

Logic Pro X retails for $199.99 and Final Cut Pro X goes for $299.99. Using Final Cut Pro X requires macOS 10.14.6 or later, at least 4GB of RAM, 3.8GB of disk space, and a Metal-capable graphics card with 1GB of VRAM. Finances are a cause of concern for many at this hard time, and in an effort to help, we've seen a number of services offered for free (here's our round up of free resources now available). There has never been an opportunity to test Logic Pro X free before, so this will be welcome news to anyone who's considered investing, but has been hesitant to commit without trying it beforehand.
