Roman Reigns Pulls Out Of WWE WrestleMania 36 Match

Triple H

Reigns missed almost five months of action from October 2018 to March 2019 due to his most recent battle with leukemia, which forced him to vacate the WWE Universal championship. After recovering, Roman made a successful comeback with his recent feud with Goldberg, heading to the main event match at Wrestlemania 36 for the Universal Championship.

Following another battle with leukemia, Reigns came back in February of 2019 to announce he was in remission. However, things started to take a turn, owing to the coronavirus scare.

WWE has taken drastic measures to protect the wrestlers at Wrestlemania - which will take place April 4 and 5 at the WWE Performance Center in Florida without fans in the building.

The former world champion reportedly approached WWE officials and expressed his concern over competing at any upcoming Performance Center shows amid the current COVID-19 global pandemic. The report specified him being immunocompromised from his battle with leukemia.

Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet reported Thursday night that Roman Reigns has pulled out of his Universal title match with Goldberg at WrestleMania 36.

The WWE Universal title match will still happen and Goldberg will still be wrestling against a new competitor and the rumor is that person is going to be "The Monster Among Men" Braun Strowman. Let us know your views in the comments section below.
