Here's a dose: Detroit Piston Christian Wood's battle with the coronavirus appears over.

In an article by Dana Gauruder of Detroit Free Press, the Pistons forward is "feeling great and fully recovered" per his agent Adam Pensack.

Rudy Gobert, the first National Basketball Association player to test positive for coronavirus, and all Utah Jazz players and staff have been cleared of coronavirus by the Utah Department of Health, the club announced Friday. His diagnosis was made public March 15.

These days good news is hard to come by.

On the time, Wood was the third participant within the league to have a constructive check, when it was introduced that he was identified with the virus again on March 14.

Wood's agent said Wednesday that his client has "fully recovered" from the coronavirus.

Wood has been in isolation and closely watched by the team's medical staff since the positive test. Overall, 17 members of the Pistons' tour group were evaluated, according to the Free Press. Being considered cleared requires two negative coronavirus tests at least 24 hours apart. Wood had been enjoying a solid campaign when the season shut down, averaging 13.1 points and 6.3 rebounds.

Detroit's final game before the season was suspended was on March 11 against the Philadelphia 76ers.
