Idris Elba Responds to Cardi B’s Coronavirus Conspiracy Theory

The Luther actor has now addressed claims he was paid after people called in to question how he was able to be tested for COVID-19 when other people with symptoms have been denied access to a kit.

He is now setting things straight on the subject and raises awareness about the awful virus.

" 'I don't see what everybody's getting so upset about!' That's what Stedman was saying...and that's why Stedman's at the guest house!" said Oprah.

In the same video, he spoke about "test-shaming", crossing his fingers that a global test would become available for people of all backgrounds. not just the rich.

"It's stupid. It's the quickest way to ... get people sick", Elba noted.

Idris Elba has condemned a conspiracy theory that celebrities are being paid to say they have coronavirus. "That's like absolute bullshit, such stupidness", he said.

"People want to spread that like it's news". He quickly learned that things would be different when he got home.

"If I had caught it, she had certainly caught it in that time period, as well", Idris Elba told Winfrey.

Oprah says she added.

Before the Pacific Rim star then added: "There are a lot of people who conjure up these stories".

Winfrey's conversation with Davis came on the heels of her brand-new Apple TV+ series, "Oprah Talks COVID-19", which last week welcomed Idris Elba and his wife, model Sabrina Dhowre, as its inaugural guests.

Idris Elba said in a statement that he doesn't get the point of lying, and the idea of him faking it is preposterous. "It's about keeping my mental health." he said.

"He's happy to keep me safe". "We have just been peaceful".

During an interview with Oprah Winfrey via FaceTime, Elba as asked about his thoughts on the outbreak of the novel coronavirus - which has now killed more than 14,000 people globally.

She admitted that she was forced to properly explain social distancing to Stedman as he queried what precautions they should be taking after he was travelling: "I was like, 'You ain't coming in here and sleeping in my bed. This is a definite test of your relationship and your humanity".
