The Strokes confirm they've got a new album on the way

The Strokes perform at a rally for Democratic presidential hopeful Sen. Bernie Sanders at the University of New Hampshire in Durham

During their set, the Strokes performed fans' favorites such as "Someday", "Hard to Explain", and "New York City Cops", along with the brand new "Bad Decisions".

The Strokes' concert was created to drum up support for Sanders ahead of Tuesday's New Hampshire Democratic Party primary election, and follows similar rallies featuring Bon Iver and Vampire Weekend ahead of last week's Iowa caucuses.

The band also released a new single today titled "At The Door", which can be found on any major streaming platform as well.

Watch the band's performance at the Sanders rally on Monday below beginning at the 2:20:00 hour mark.

The Strokes are coming in hot in 2020.

The Strokes performed for a crowd of approximately 7,500 at the University of New Hampshire ahead of the state's primary election on Tuesday, as reported by the Washington Examiner.

Before concluding their performance, Casablancas announced that the band's long-awaited new studio album will arrive as soon as April 10.

Along with the song The Strokes released an animated clip, filmed by Mike Burakoff (who has previously worked with MGMT). He called the Senator a "dedicated, diligent and trustworthy patriot-and a fellow New Yorker!" According to the teaser, it has the title "The New Abnormal". As the only truly non-corporate candidate, Bernie Sanders represents our only chance to overthrow corporate power and help return America to democracy. "That's why we support it".
