'Stranger Things' trailer: Look! Hopper is back for Season 4

Stranger Things Season 4 Hopper Alive American Russia

Prepare for a twist in the upcoming season of Netflix's prized 1980s-set, inter-dimensional series.

Netflix has debuted a Stranger Things season 4 teaser trailer just in time for Valentine's Day that seems to show Hopper (David Harbour) alive - although not necessarily well - after his apparent demise at the end of season 3.

Unfortunately, the trailer does not give any other details - including a release date or even a timeline for when we might expect the new season. As the trailer progresses, one laborer removes his cap to wipe sweat from his shaved head-and you get one guess at who this laborer may be.

Fans began to suspect, however, that Hopper might return after a post-credits scene showed Russian prison guards debating which inmate to execute.

"He is imprisoned far from home in the snowy wasteland of Kamchatka, where he will face dangers both human. and other", the Duffer brothers' statement said, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

In a statement released in conjunction with the new trailer, the creators of the hit Netflix show, Ross and Matt Duffer, also confirmed that production on Stranger Things 4 is now underway.

Let me explain: Netflix released footage of Hopper in Russian Federation in season 4, and I'm excited about this sneak peek look at Black Widow! . "Meanwhile, back in the states, a new horror is beginning to surface, something long buried, something that connects everything", the wrote.

You may still be recovering from the way Hopper was taken out of Season 3.

David Harbour tried his best to keep Hopper's return a secret, telling fans at a German comic con "we don't know yet" when asked about the fate of the beloved character.

After this first teaser, we can't wait to see what Stranger Things 4 has in store, all we know is we must pray for the American.
