Stranger Things Season 4 Trailer: Hopper Alive, David Harbour Returns

Stranger Things Season 4 Teaser Sees Jim Hopper Return

At the end of Stranger Things 3, it was broadly hinted that "the American" held captive in Russian Federation was a familiar face. Netflix has dropped the first Stranger Things 4 teaser; which confirms Hopper's survival.

The character of Hopper, played by David Harbour, appeared to have been killed off during Season 3.

Some theories say that clues point to a premiere as soon as April, and if that's true we'll be getting a lot more Stranger Things updates before long.

The third season of Stranger Things ended with Hopper seemingly sacrificing himself so Joyce (Winona Ryder) and the others escape.

As dogs bark and officials with guns guard from watch towers, we see workers mining in the blistering cold, before Hopper - newly balded - is eventually revealed. "Although it's not all good news for our "American"; he is imprisoned far from home in the snowy wasteland of Kamchatka, where he will face dangers both human... and other".

If you, like me, figured that there were multiple possibilities that could see Hopper show up in Stranger Things Season 4, you're in luck!

Series creators, the Duffer brothers, also released a statement about the new clip. "In the meantime, pray for the American".

There's nothing else to the trailer, really, like a release date or more information on when we'll learn additional details about the show's return, but fans will no doubt get a kick out of it. The teaser is called From Russia With Love, which works great for Valentine's Day. Share your thoughts in the comments section below!
