Lovely New Nintendo Switch Lite Colour Announced For Japan

Nintendo Switch is swiftly going out of supply – Why is there no new stock?

When Nintendo first announced the Switch Lite past year, it came in three eye-catching colors: turquoise, yellow, and grey. They were all beautiful-looking pastel colors, and considering the company's track record with releasing new colors and designs for their consoles, it's no surprise that they'd have another one in store for the Switch Lite.

Nintendo has announced a new Nintendo Switch Lite color, called Coral. The "vibrant and playful" addition to the Lite family has now appeared on the US Nintendo store page, but there's currently no pre-order date listed. The delightful coral shade perfectly compliments our upcoming visit to the deserted island with Tom Nook's getaway package. Doesn't it just remind you of pretty coral reefs? I can practically hear the ocean waves when I look at it.

Nintendo Switch Lite is designed specifically for handheld play, making it easy to bring a diverse collection of exciting, relaxing and challenging games with you wherever you go. Its post announcing the new colour also contains an asterisk to clarify that the delays from the novel coronavirus still apply, but that production for the new model has at least been able to supply a month's worth of consoles for March.

According to Nintendo's announcement tweet, the Animal Crossing: New Horizon's Direct will be broadcast this Thursday, 20th February at 2pm in the UK/6am PT.
