'Black Widow' Super Bowl Spot: Marvel Gives A Peek At The Deadly Assassin's Backstory In New Trailer

Following up on the Black Widow trailer, the Super Bowl spot is here to add some anticipation for David Harbour's Red Guardian.

The Super Bowl trailer showed off footage from the Marvel film and it's full of action and suspense.

This summer, Scarlett Johansson's Black Widow will get her long-overdue standalone film a full decade after she first appeared in Iron Man 2.

Black Widow takes place between the events of Captain America: Civil War Y Avengers: Infinity War. Directed by Cate Shortland and produced by Kevin Feige, "Black Widow"-the primary movie in Section 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe-hits US theaters on Could 1, 2020".

Hopefully, we'll know more later this year, when Black Widow reaches theaters on May 1, 2020. As well as, Natasha reveals that in some unspecified time in the future, all of us have to select what the world needs us to be and who we actually are. It's unclear how they all fit together- it's rumored that Vostokoff and Belova are alternate versions of Black Widow; in the comics, Shostakov is Natasha's ex-husband- but it's clear they're all on the same side.

It's kind of insane to think we've had to wait 16 years to finally get a Black Widow movie. Still unknown, a cast member for the alleged villain for the solo "Black Widow" movie the Taskmaster.

Disney has set Black Widow's release date for May 1st. The trailer released in December and teased Marvel Cinematic Universe fans about some "unfinished business".
