Trump commemorates Martin Luther King Jr. Day with memorial visit

Celebrating voting rights and Dr. Martin Luther King Junior a crowd gathered in the Leon County courthouse at noon Wednesday

"I like to see people come together, engage together from all walks of life, all colors", said Hall-Sanders.

Around one hundred volunteers are honoring the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King having a day of service giving back to the community with food and donations. "And I think that anybody who cares about "and justice for all" on today or any day of the year will appreciate the fact that the president now will have a full throttle defense on the facts, and everybody should have that". "That's what all these gentlemen do, that's what everybody that's out here is doing, and we hope that the rest of the community will join us in that vision and keep pushing forward".

Agreeing with King's sentiments, the tennis Grand Slam champion and LGTQ rights activist Martina Navratilova, added: "New rules- no white republican should ever surmise what any black person was or is thinking or feeling".

Waco area residents lined up in the morning cold Monday at Indian Spring Park for the 24th annual march in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial in Washington, D.C., and Trump also tweeted that it was "so appropriate" that "exactly three years ago today, January 20, 2017, I was sworn into office". This isn't merely gross co-option.
