Fan throws object at LeBron James' son during high school game

LeBron "Bronny" James Jr.'s Sierra Canyon basketball team played at the Hoophall Classic in MA on Monday (January 20), and the game was stopped momentarily after someone in the crowd threw a piece of debris in his direction.

During the high school game, a fan sitting in one of the first few rows was seen throwing something at Bronny James as he waited to inbound the ball. A referee immediately stopped the game and called over a police officer, according to ESPN's Jeff Borzello.

Bronny's teammate, Zaire Williams, told reporters after the HoopHall Classic, which wrapped up in Springfield, Massachusetts Monday, "You'd be surprised by all the stuff Bronny has to go through". There's no place for that anywhere.

Shortly after the turn of the millennium, there was an increasing amount of buzz in the basketball world about a high schooler from Akron, Ohio who had all of the makings of a generational talent and it was only a matter of time until the city found itself at the center of the national spotlight thanks to a budding superstar named LeBron James.

Bronny logged 13 minutes away from the bench for Sierra Canyon, that dropped to Paul VI 70-62.

LeBron James replied to a video showing the object being thrown at Bronny, tweeting in part, "Hating has no age limit!"

LeBron spoke about the incident following the Lakers' 139-107 loss to the Boston Celtics. "#JamesGang is build for it and well equipped". "It was a little kid, too".
