A USA woman who says she was forced to have sex with the Duke of York aged 17 has given her first United Kingdom television interview - on Monday's BBC Panorama.

In her first British television interview, Prince Andrew's accuser Virginia Giuffre has called out the royal for lying.

The third time, when she was just 18 years old, allegedly took place when she and the Duke of York were "in an orgy on Epstein's private island in the U.S. Virgin Islands".

"I didn't know Andrew and never met anyone from the royal household".

In a statement on November 21 Prince Andrew said said he regrets his association with Epstein and that he "deeply sympathises" with his victims.

Philip is said to be furious at Andrew, along with his son's ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson, who reportedly encouraged the Duke of York to go ahead with his own BBC interview that was widely deemed a "car crash" disaster for him.

He had been in prison awaiting trial on federal sex-trafficking charges, which he had denied.

There are claims Prince Charles plans to focus the royal family on himself, his children and his grandchildren when he becomes king. "It related to events outside of the United Kingdom and an allegation of trafficking to central London in March 2001", United Kingdom police said in a statement.

"In August 2019, following the death of Jeffrey Epstein, the MPS reviewed the decision making and our position remains unchanged".
