City and United both overcame lower league opposition, in Oxford and Colchester respectively, to book their places in the semis - and now they will face each other.

'No one comes in the door without me saying yes. "He is Manchester United's best player but does he want to play for the club?"

According to the ex-Norwegian global striker, he is in charge of transfers at Manchester United before adding that the Transfer process also involves other members of staff.

Pogba has missed 26 of a possible 28 matches for club and country this autumn and United have missed his midfield dynamism.

Pogba, whose return was delayed by a mystery illness despite him being seen dancing at his brother Florentin's wedding last weekend, admitted in the summer he was looking for a new challenge, but that will not be in January according to Solskjaer. He gets goals, attends and is a player.
