Meghan Markle and Prince Harry to break another royal tradition?

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to miss Queen's annual Christmas party, according to reports

However, this should not come as a huge surprise to royal admirers.

"The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are looking forward to extended family time towards the end of this month", a spokesperson for the Sussexes later confirmed.

Meghan Markle is undoubtedly the most talked-about woman in the world, with her fame going stratospheric since the former Suits actress married Prince Harry previous year and welcomed their first royal baby this May.

They told E! News: "Harry and Meghan are said to want [to] ensure that some of their Christmas card images reflect that Doria is very much part of their family and of Archie's upbringing".

The royal family typically celebrates the holiday season at Sandringham with the Queen. As fans will recall, Prince William and Kate Middleton spent the holidays with the Middletons in 2012.

But despite the rumours, Harry and Meghan have made it perfectly clear they will not be attending any of the holiday gatherings, and instead will remain overseas for the season. During an episode of The HeirPod podcast, ABC News royal contributor Omid Scobie said "they celebrated Thanksgiving privately with close family". A spokeswoman responded, "We haven't finalized plans yet".

The duke and duchess couldn't go to Queen Elizabeth's Christmas lunch this year as they are as of now on a six-week break from illustrious obligations and apparently voyaging overseas alongside their 7-month-old child Archie.

But could Harry and Meghan also be working during their break?

According to a latest report on an entertainment portal, royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams explained why Markle had not yet donned the accessory.
