Mystery Nintendo Switch exercise accessory is called Ring-Con, coming in October

Excuse the price I’m in Canada

Amnesia: Collection is now out on Nintendo Switch!

"I hope that once players hold the Ring-Con, put on the Leg Strap and start playing for themselves, they'll be immersed in a journey that will keep them motivated to come back and have fun exercising every day". To travel through more than 20 different worlds in the game, players jog in place to move forward, using the Ring-Con accessory to perform different in-game actions, like jumping, hovering in mid-air, or steering a raft on a river. Ring Fit Adventure tracks your daily workout routines and turns some of the more popular exercises into mini-games. When you encounter enemies, you'll do battle by performing color-coded exercises.

While you're moving through the level, monsters will sometimes block your progress and kick off Fit Battles. Ring Fit Adventure features other modes that let you do individual exercises, sets, or play through minigames as well, but it looks like Adventure mode is the main event.

What is Ring Fit Adventure, exactly? "Simple" lets players choose exercises they want to work on, and perform them individually. The game even includes a "Silent" mode for people who live in an upstairs apartment or don't want to make a lot of noise. Nintendo is rolling out a new fitness game for the Switch called Ring Fit Adventure, and in order to play it, Switch owners will need both the ring accessory and a Joy-Con leg strap. The Simple mode allows you do quick exercises targeting specific muscle groups, but for something a little more in-depth, there's also a Minigame mode.
