The 30-year-old underwent his medical this morning ahead of his loan with redemption option move back to the Bundesliga, where he has played previously for both Borussia Dortmund and Wolfsburg.

Manchester United target, Ivan Perisic has joined Bayern Munich on a season-long loan from Inter Milan.

The Croatia global underwent medical tests on Monday morning in Munich with Bayern, who are desperately seeking reinforcement in the wide areas. FC Bayern are one of the biggest clubs in Europe.

Perisic's current contract at Inter runs until 2022, but he was reportedly set to play less of a role under new coach Antonio Conte.

After the departures of long-time tandem Arjen Robben and Frank Ribery at the end of last season, Bayern have been looking to replenish their attacking options. Their chances of signing Manchester City's Leroy Sane this summer ended after he suffered a serious knee injury in the Premier League champions' Community Shield victory over Liverpool.

Perisic told German paper Bild on Monday: 'I've just had my medical.

Do you think Perisic will be success at Bayern?

Perisic returns to the Bundesliga after four seasons in Italy.
