"It was about a calling, and an essence, and other things I feel called to".

She added, "All I'm filled with is a lot of pain about leaving and a lot of gratitude and to all of you".

As brief as this promo may have been though, it may actually have revealed the main setting of the Rick Grimes movies.

And not just any Walking Dead movie.

One of the most anticipated panels of Comic-Con Day 2 was "The Walking Dead" Panel. "The beauty of this show is that TWD Family is forever". "It was a very hard decision". I love you guys.

Danai Gurira has officially announced that season 10 will be her last on The Walking Dead, so now it's time for her costars to say goodbye.

Gurira isn't the first big star to leave the series either, as Andrew Lincoln, arguably the most significant protagonist of the show, also announced he'd be leaving as well.

Now, given The Walkings Dead's flagging ratings, you can make a good argument for us not needing a third show, or even a second...or a first, depending on deep down this particular rabbit hole you are. "We're going to introduce new characters and new situations".

She went on to call her a "powerhouse of an actress" and said that her "performances speak for themselves" after Gurira worked her magic throughout the seasons on the show. But one longstanding touchstone - The Walking Dead - got some interesting news about a character who the show has already moved past. The film is suspected to continue on the story of Rick Grimes, and the short teaser trailer may have just shown us that these movies will be a continuation from his "death".
