Tyler Parks and Rec Hosting Their 18th Annual Easter Egg Hunt

The Easter Story Egg comes with a book and seven handcrafted wooden eggs that help explain the biblical Easter story

Don't forget a bag or basket for the kids to put the eggs in.

There will a Community Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 20th, at noon at Bogue Flats.

Inspired Villages, which owns and operates later living community Austin Heath, near Warwick, is sponsoring the annual Easter egg hunt in for the second year in a row - providing all of the eggs for the hunt.

The Avon Egg Hunt returns to Harry A. Nottingham Park on Saturday, April 20, at 10 a.m. Enjoy a free egg hunt, face painting, guessing games and a coloring contest. For the hunt, she said, the volunteers then split the eggs into groups of 200 for each age group: Toddlers, Pre-K, Kindergarten, first grade, and second grade. Check in at the town of Avon tent to have your child measured and receive a wristband to participate with other children of approximately the same height.

Sabourin added each age group also received one purple egg to open with a card inside saying, "winner". The egg hunt starts at 11, but if you want an earlier start to your day, come from 9 to 10 a.m. for ASI's Kids at the Castle program, Earth Day edition.

Prizes included candy which was in the eggs, large and small stuffed animals and buckets full of books.

The Easter Bunny will be hopping around the park throughout the morning. There will be age appropriate activities with prizes for every participant. The pancake breakfast served more than 80 people. The town of Gypsum will provide an Easter basket to kids younger than 6 years old. These eggs are not real eggs, they have prizes inside.

It took almost 100 people to get the 30,000 Easter eggs filled with sweet treats for their 7th annual CCGB Easter Egg Hunt. Bring your camera as there will be an opportunity to take pictures with the Easter Bunny! Each empty beer can will be redeemed for two VIP tickets to the Vail Craft Beer Classic, June 20-23.

On Easter Sunday will be the annual Middleport Easter Egg Hunt which is hosted by the Middleport Volunteer Fire Department. The Annual Spring Easter Festival kicks off at 11 a.m.in Lehighton at the Rec. Center.
