Master Chief Collection coming to PC, possibly via Game Pass

The upcoming Halo Infinite is set to be the first new mainline game of the Halo series since Halo 5: Guardians, which was released in 2015.

We've been learning alot these past several months about the game, including how the studio "learned" from past mistakes and how this will be the "biggest" change for Master Chief yet. She refused to spoil any details as she wanted to leave these details a surprise until their E3 2019 presentation. Most of the rumors about Halo Infinite skipping Xbox One seem to originate from worries of numerous fans of the popular series that Microsoft might want to release it for the upcoming platform. The interview also covered how Ross and her team are approaching the now in-development Halo sequel Halo Infinite and how the game represents a new, diverse identity for the long-running shooter franchise.

There's now no release date for Halo Infinite, but there are rumours that the game could launch on the next Xbox console, which could potentially release in the next year or two.

They (Microsoft) didn't want to show off any part of the game because it actually looked pretty damn good and they didn't want to make current-gen stuff look bad. The Halo games are renowned for being fun to play and they managed to bring in million of people to Xbox.

Due to the fact that all generations of Xbox One hardware are compatible with each other, they can now be considered a family.

There have been a lot of rumors going around lately that Microsoft is prepping two new Xbox consoles. But so far, no reliable source has confirmed this. Plus, the addition of 4K Xbox One X enhanced visuals previous year. Pre-orders for the One S will start in April.
