"Please Stop Lying,": Meghan Markle's Explosive Letter To Estranged Father Revealed

Read Meghan Markle's Touching 5-Page Letter to her Dad after he skipped the Royal Wedding

In the handwritten letter, dated August 2018, Meghan Markle addressed a number of issues from her father's staged paparazzi photos ahead of her wedding-which Thomas Markle and Meghan Markle's half-sister Samantha Markle took credit for-to his absence at the royal affair and financial assistance she's attempted to provide him.

The former "Suits" actress recounted in the letter that she and Prince Harry repeatedly reached out to Markle before the wedding, that she personally helped him financially, and that she only learned of his reported heart attack through the tabloids.

In her signature cursive handwriting, the letter begins, "Daddy, it is with a heavy heart that I write this, not understanding why you have chosen to take this path, turning a blind eye to the pain you're causing". He's never called; he's never texted.

Thomas Markle may have just sabotaged any remaining possibility of a relationship with his estranged daughter, Meghan Markle. "You haven't reached out to me since the week of our wedding", the letter continues.

According to a press release, the movie will pull back the curtain "to reveal the untold joys and challenges of life inside the royal family during their pivotal first years of marriage". He had previously been hiding away in Mexico due to some debts, and he lied about having a medical issue when his daughter asked him to attend her wedding. Her father and siblings have also used the media to gain money and attention even though they aren't close to Markle. He says, 'When I opened the letter I was hoping it was the olive branch I'd longed for, ' he said last night.

'There was no loving message in there, nothing asking about my health, nothing from her saying, "Let's get together and heal our differences", Mr Markle said about the contents of the letter. "Did you hear anything I said?' It's nearly like they're ships passing".

In the interview, Meghan's friends said that her father never called or texted her - something he denies.

He also claimed that he chose to share the letter now, after being attacked by Meghan's friends, to prove the tone of the letter was not as it was made to seem in the People interview.

"Nobody lied about her, she lied about everyone and there's plenty of proof out there in the world has seen her ghost everyone, this little letter does not fix what the world witnessed".

Kensington Palace declined to comment on the letter.
