Monster Hunter: World's The Witcher 3

CD PROJEKT RED, creators of The Witcher series of games, together with Capcom, invite gamers around the world to take on a monster hunt of epic proportions, as The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt-themed content makes its way into Monster Hunter: World.

In other Monster Hunter: World news, Capcom has announced that the game has sold nearly 12 million copies world-wide, making it the most popular game in the series, and the best selling Capcom game of all time.

As said, this single player Monster Hunter World questline featuring Geraltl of Rivia is available now for Xbox One and Playstation 4.

Back in 2016, we first learned that Capcom was planning a Monster Hunter movie with Resident Evil film director Paul W.S. Anderson at the helm.

As Geralt, you will also be able to engage in dialogues with other characters, which will influence how the story unfolds through choices.

Geralt has the ability to use his silver sword for monsters and also his sign abilities like Quen and Igni.

You'll be able to get stuck into The Witcher III crossover event as soon as you've grabbed the latest Monster Hunter World update, which is free to download.

Another quest will go live on February 15, known as Woodland Spirit.

The update sees Geralt hunting for an ancient Leshen by accepting the contract "Trouble in the Ancient Forest", and if you complete your task you'll receive an armour set blueprint that'll be available for crafting, a Nekker skin for your Palico, a cursed staff, and a silver sword. This is a much more hard version of the Leshen and you will need to bring your friends along in order to be successful.

It's unknown exactly what else the Witcher has brought to the game along with him.

Will you be jumping into the new content?
